Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – PATABAMBA – HUCHUY QOSQO.
The transport will go through your hotel to pick you up at 7:00 am, to be able to drive it until the beginning of the walk which is Patabamba, Patabamba is located at 3690 meters above sea level, from here we will start walking towards Huchuy Qosqo, the walk is smooth, during the journey we will see farmers doing their daily routine, as we will also pass through where they grow, wheat beans, barley, etc. … and the fauna will be able to observe hummingbird deer partridges etc., the way is in the summits of the sacred valley, during 3 hours of Soft climb until reaching the maximum height of 4000m where Pucamarca will be located. the first archaeological center and where the original Inca road to Huchuy Qosqo begins, in Huchuy Qosqo you can have lunch and enjoy the afternoon with your guide, after the visit of the archaeological center you will go to the house of a family in Huchuy Qosqo, where will spend the night in the family home.
DAY 2: HUCHUY QOSQO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES.
Awake 6 am, 6:30 breakfast and then start a walk to reach Lamay for 2 hours all descent, where our transport will pick us up and then continue the visit of the sacred valley.
First we will visit MORAY aquatic center will receive information about the place the ideal is to arrive more before the other groups. and so enjoy better then continue with the salt mines in maras in the same way you can enjoy for an hour on the site, then continue to Urubamba where you can have lunch at a restaurant buffet, once finish lunch we will continue to Ollantaytambo and then take the train and take us to the Aguas Calientes town where you will spend in a lodging and you will have a diner and organize with your guide before going up to Machupicchu
DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CUSCO.
Organizing with the guide and depending on the season will take the bus that will take us to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu and thus make the visits with the guide, the guided will last approximately 2 hours. After the tour you can explore Machupicchu on your own considering how to return to Cusco once your visit is finished, go down to the town of Aguas Calientes to take your train to Ollantaytambo where our transport will wait to take you to your accommodation in the city of cusco.
