Itinerary


DAY 1: CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – KM 82 – AYAPATA.

Start the most exciting adventure that can only be experienced with our classic Inca trail of 4 days / 3 Nights.

Our private transportation from the company will pick you up from your Hotel in Cusco, Urubamba or Ollantaytambo. In the case of Cusco we look for you at 4:30 a.m. and from Urubamba at 5.30 a.m., in order to take you to the beginning of the walk, Ollantaytambo will be our first stop and we will have time to have breakfast, once we have had breakfast, have acquired our first energy drinks, visit the Hygienic services or some snacks For our walk, we will go to our starting point which is KM 82, the place of our starting point (km 82 is 2,706 masl). DAY 2: DEAD WOMEN’S PASS – RUNCCURAQAY PASS – PACAYMAYO – CHAQUICOCHA.

On this day, the porters will have the task of waking you up very early with a hot coca tea that will help you prepare to continue on our second day, since the walk on this day is longer and more challenging, our first stop is DEAD WOMAN’S PASS known as WARMI WAÑUSQA (4215 masl), in this place we will have a brief stop to be able to enjoy and observe this beautiful place, we will continue with our Inca Trail until we reach the beautiful valley of PACAYMAYO – called RIO OCULTO (3600 M.S.N.M) in this During the tour we will be able to observe beautiful varieties of hummingbirds among others, likewise we will be able to observe a variety of native plants, trees such as Polylepis and Queuña that grow in the amazing cloud forest where our lunch will be. After an exquisite lunch prepared by our professional chef, we will continue our walk until we reach the next step called RUNCCURACCAY, in this place we will appreciate beautiful waterfalls, continuing with our Inca Trail we will arrive at the Inca site called SAYACMARCA (one of the most beautiful archaeological centers on the way Inca designated for the Inca army), after having traveled in this beautiful Inca site we will continue with our journey until we reach the CHAQUICOCHA camp (3600 masl) where we spend the night on our second night.

DAY 3: CHAQUICOCHA– PHUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYWAYNA

This day will be really beautiful of the entire Inca Trail, we will walk for 2 hours along what we like to call INCA FLAT which are Gradual inclinations and we will begin to enter the jungle known as Cloud Forest, in this place our first view will be to see the Salkantay Mountain, the second highest mountain in the Sacred Valley and the second highest snow-capped mountain in our Cusco Region, following our walk we will arrive at the archaeological site known as Phuyupatmarca, a place where we will have beautiful views of the Urubamba Valley and from where we will also have our first view of Machupicchu Mountain, once we have enjoyed this beautiful place we will continue our Inca Trail a section full of steps until we reach our third and last camp near the Inca Archaeological Center of Wiñaywayna, in this place we will be for the whole afternoon to be able to enjoy the beautiful places around this Inca site together with your guide. Then return to our camp have our tea to relax and later have dinner and rest so that the next day we do not miss a single second of enjoying the world wonder that is Machupicchu.

DAY 4: WIÑAYWAYNA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

This day is the last and most important day of this Inca Trail 4 Days/3 Nights tour that starts at 3.30 am and our last breakfast at 4.00 am, we get ready to be one of the first to arrive at the entrance control to Machupicchu, on this day we say goodbye to our team of porters and Inca trail chef who accompanied us during our journey and made our meals different and special, after this farewell we continue with our Inca journey to SUN GATE known as INTI PINKU , from this place we will have excellent views of Machupicchu and the mountains that surround it. Enjoyed this beautiful place we continue our walk towards the lost city of the Incas, each time we approach we see perfect views that only this beautiful citadel shows us, we enter the citadel from the top through the “Guardian House” , From there we go to the control point where we register and leave our belongings, once in MACHUPICCHU you will have a guide for approximately 2 hours where you will visit every corner of this place, after the tour you will have time to continue enjoying this place, likewise They will give you your bus tickets (if you made the reservation) that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes or continue walking for a period of 1 hour and a half until you reach the town of Aguas Calientes and enjoy this beautiful place and if you have income To climb one of the neighboring mountains of our Machupicchu, which are Montaña de Machupicchu or Huaynapicchu (both must be reserved 4 months in advance) you will have to go until the time that your guide indicates the meeting in Aguas Calientes town to meet you, in a local restaurant, at this lunch the guide will give you your return train tickets to Ollantaytambo (4.22 pm) where our transport will be waiting for you to then drive you to Cusco and later to your hotel in the city of Cusco.
